Breaking news just came out late Saturday night as the Phoenix Suns plan to sign former Magic guard Terrence Ross after a buyout agreement with the team according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Earlier in the day, it appeared that the Mavericks were the front runner for Ross and it seemed like a done deal that he was going there once the buyout was complete.
It appears the Suns made a pitch late to Ross and the opportunity to play with new Suns acquisition Kevin Durant and bolster the wing depth was too hard to pas up.
Ross spent the past 7 years with the Magic averaging 12.7 PPG on 42% from the floor and 37% from three.
This season he’s averaging 8 PPG in 22 MPG on 43% shooting and 38% from three. He brings a level of solid wing depth with great mid range and three point shooting.
What this tells me is Ross gives them wing depth that provides a little more all-around scoring. The next question this presents is what does this mean for a guy like Landry Shamet and Damion Lee once everybody comes back healthy.

This is shaping out to be a really scary team in the West on paper. The Suns just now got to put it altogether on the court and stay healthy for this whole thing to work.
