Johnson injured his meniscus back on November 4th in a loss against the Portland Trail Blazers at home. Since then he’s missed the last 37 games with the team and the Suns have fallen to the 12th seed in the west due to multiple injuries that have happened so far in the season.
Johnson in his 8 games to start the season has averaged, 13 PPG, 3.4 RPG, 1.8 APG, 1.1 SPG, and shooting 43.1% from 3-Point range. Johnson came into the season as the starting power forward in place for Jae Crowder and now he has a chance to help turn the Suns’ season around in hopes of getting back to playoff basketball.
There May Be Light At The End Of The Tunnel For Struggling Suns
In regards to Johnson’s return tomorrow night, he just had two simple words for his approach come game time which is to “have fun”. And best believe Suns fans will be rocking at Footprint Center tomorrow night for Johnson’s return this season.
