The Diamondbacks ace had a terrific season in 2022. Gallen set career bests in innings pitched, wins, ERA, and just about every major pitching category. In addition, he had a franchise record 44 1/3 scoreless innings streak.

Gallen finished with a 12-4 record with 2.54 EAR in 184 innings pitched; he struck out 192 batters and had a WHIP of 0.913. Gallen led the National League in WHIP and finished seventh in ERA. The starting pitcher won a Pitcher of the Month award when he went 5-1 for the month.

Zac Gallen had a fantastic season; hopefully, he can carry it into next season and help the Diamondbacks start to win more games.
