3 Players to Watch for Arizona Cardinals in Week 1

cardinals

Kickoff is less than two hours away as the Arizona Cardinals host the Kansas City Chiefs in the season opener. While they are home underdogs, the Cardinals will look to have the same success as they had early in the season last year. Of course, we all know eyes will be on the Cardinals’ star players, but other players could impact Sunday’s game.

Marquise Brown

Marquise Brown will be making his Cardinals debut on Sunday. With DeAndre Hopkins and Rondale Moore both out, Brown should be Kyler Murray’s No.1 target. Kansas City’s defense is suspect in the secondary look for Brown to have numerous opportunities to catch passes.

Andy Isabella

With Moore out, look for Andy Isabella to play a more significant role today. Isabella is fast and shifty and could make some noise today in the slot. With Brown and Zach Ertz probably getting a lot of attention, Isabella could put some good numbers.

Isaiah Simmons

Two years after being drafted, Isaiah Simmons is finally starting to adjust to the NFL level of play; he is being moved around all over the field like he was in Clemson. Simmons will have his hands full today, having to pay a lot of attention to Travis Kelce. However, the former Clemson star can do a little bit of everything on defense and should be poised for a big season.

The Red Beard: Arizona Cardinal Prop Bets Week 1

It should be an interesting game for the Cardinals; getting off to a good start could benefit them in Sunday’s game. Getting a pass rush on Patrick Mahomes will be critical in an Arizona victory.
