Leading the club on the mound starting pitcher Corbin Martin looked more than impressive pitching 8 complete innings, giving up 0 runs, 0 walks, on 4 hits with 6 strikeouts.

Stone Garrett has been showing he is ready for the majors not if, but when they call him up later this season, hitting his 22nd homer last night in the form of a grand slam. He now has 71 runs batted in half way through the season leading fans to chant “CALL UP STONE”.

Blaze Alexander is another youngster killing it, hitting a .298/.374/.502 slash line this season, going 3/3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks last night. Getting him out seems impossible at the triple A level.

Add last years first round pick Jordan Lawler’s amazing start to his career, with the #2 pick in the draft this year who will be according to sources Jackson Holiday and the future looks and smells like a dynasty in the making. The Diamondbacks have a plethora of talent under 25 that over the next 2 seasons can decide to keep or trade for needs. It is an exciting time to be a baseball fan in the desert.
