Plumlee, 34, averaged 5.3 points on 56.9% shooting, 5.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 14.7 minutes across 46 games (11 starts) for the Los Angeles Clippers last season. The 6-foot-10 Duke product will be entering his 12th season in the NBA this upcoming year.

Plumlee discusses what led him to signing with Phoenix, the Suns’ roster, his health, playing for coach Mike Budenholzer and owner Mat Ishbia, how playing with stars on the Clippers will help him in Phoenix, his establish chemistry with the Suns’ other incoming free agent Monte Morris and more.

“I had really good conversations with (coach Mike Budenholzer) and (general manager and president of basketball operations James Jones) and (CEO) Josh (Bartelstein) and then ultimately (owner) Mat (Ishbia),” Plumlee said. “They were very convincing, and this is a roster that I was excited to join.”
