Last season, Lucas appeared in six games for the Lions and recorded one solo tackle and two assists.
Lucas was on the Sun Devil roster from 2016-2021 after committing to ASU as a four-star prospect out of Chandler High School, becoming one of the most well-known players on the team.
After redshirting in 2016, Lucas totaled 52 games played for ASU, recording 223 total tackles (12 for loss), two sacks and six interceptions.
In three games this preseason, Lucas had eight total tackles, one highlight-reel interception and three passes defended. His performance this preseason could lead to him getting signed by another team or back onto the Lions practice squad.
Earlier today, another former ASU CB, Timarcus Davis, was cut by the Los Angeles Rams. Davis signed as an undrafted free agent with the Rams this year.
