After being shutout by the Brewers last night, the Diamondbacks answered right back with a 7-3 victory. Arizona took two of three in the series and has improved to 8-5 on the season, sitting at the top of the NL West.

Jameson threw four shutout innings, allowing just three hits. In total this season, Jameson has thrown 12.1 innings, allowing only two runs.
Josh Rojas improved his batting average for the year to .412 with three hits and two runs scored. It was his third three-hit game in the past five days.
Behind Rojas was Lourdes Gurriel Jr., who finally had his much anticipated breakout game. Gurriel was a triple shy of the cycle, including a three-run home run, his first in a D-backs uniform.

While the Brewers did attempt to mount a comeback in the seventh inning, the sheriff, Andrew Chafin, came in to prevent any further damage. Chafin entered a bases-loaded, no-outs situation and only allowed two to score as he got the much-needed double play and a smooth snag on a comebacker.

Rookie star Corbin Carroll then responded right back in the seventh inning with a two-run bomb. It was his third home run of the season and second hit of the game, marking his fourth multi-hit day of the season.
