New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo (44) shouts after defeating the Los Angeles Chargers at MetLife Stadium, Sep 28, 2025, East Rutherford, NJ, USA.
The moment aired live during a segment featuring other WWE talent, including Finn Bálor and Dominik Mysterio, offering a mix of NFL and WWE crossover.

The appearance was connected not only to his new home in New York but also to the Valley. Fans long believed Skattebo would become a rising talent in the NFL, but he is now reaching audiences far beyond football.
A player who built his reputation in the Valley and is now branding himself in other markets shows how far Arizona State can help propel an athlete after they leave the program. His popularity didn’t stop in Arizona, as he has become a fan favorite across the football world.

While it’s uncertain whether Skattebo will have more opportunities to appear in WWE, the moment highlighted not only his interest in branching into new markets but also WWE’s willingness to feature popular talent from across the sports world.
The former Sun Devil is still recovering from a right ankle injury he sustained against the Philadelphia Eagles on Oct. 26 and is out for the rest of the season, but the setback hasn’t stopped him from expanding his brand.
