It is unclear when Collier hurt himself, but he suffered a knee injury in the first half vs. the Panthers. Gannon did clarify that they could return this season, while giving updates to other injured players.

Cardinals HC Gannon latest injury report:
CB Max Melton went out in the first half against Carolina after tackling WR Tetairoa McMillan on a 40-yard pass. He didn’t return due to a knee injury, but Gannon reports that he will practice today. Despite that good news, fellow CB Will Johnson will not practice Wednesday due to be banged up in Week 2.

Johnson left the game in the third quarter after landing awkwardly and getting the wind knocked out of him. He recovered and returned on the final Panthers touchdown drive, before suffering a rib injury on the same play that injured Williams.
The rookie not being placed on IR is great news for Arizona, and hopefully means he’ll be ready for Week 3 vs. the San Francisco 49ers. The Cardinals will desperately need Johnson, as the secondary is already depleted enough will Williams and more out for an extended period of time.
