Fitzgerald on Pro Football Hall of Fame:
When Fitzgerald first started playing football, the Pro Football Hall of Fame wasn’t even a thought in his mind. The Minneapolis, Minnesota native has always strived to be the best player he can be, which turned out to be one of the best the NFL has ever seen. In his 17-year career, Fitzgerald has the second-most receiving yards in league history with 17,492.
Despite never achieving his goal of winning a Super Bowl with the Cardinals, he does have arguably one of the best postseason runs by any wide receiver ever. In the 2009 postseason, Fitzgerald had 546 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in four games, both stats are still the most ever in a single postseason.

Fitzgerald is a heavy favorite to have his name announced as a member of the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame class. The enshrinement will mean a lot to the 11-time Pro Bowler, but the ability to play football for nearly two decades at a high level has been an honor all by itself.
