According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, Murray and the team consulted with doctors over the injury and the timetable could be anywhere from four to eight weeks. If he were to continue playing, there would be a greater chance of a setback.
For now, Arizona will have Jacoby Brissett continue to get the start, including against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Murray was originally supposed to start against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, but head coach Johanthan Ganon made the switch leading up to the game.

Brissett, who has played in the last three games, has been able to lead the offense and give the team chances to win. Monday’s victory against the Cowboys showcased his continued ability to manage the offense and fill in effectively for Murray in his absence.
While some debated whether Murray should resume starting once healthy, Brissett will seemingly continue to get the nod as Murray recovers from his injury.
Brissett has completed 65.2% of his passes for 860 yards with six touchdowns in three starts, averaging two passing touchdowns per game.

As the Cardinals navigate a crucial stretch of their season, there is at least clarity on who will lead the offense. With playoff positioning still at stake, Brissett’s defined role could be the catalyst for the team to find more success down the line.
