Booker is the latest NBA player to open up their likeness to content creators. Earlier this year, Golden State Warriors’ Steph Curry was featured in MrBeast’s video for a shooting challenge. The increase in players linking with popular content creators may be a strategic move.
With NBA players increasingly taking ownership of their public image, platforms like YouTube offer direct access without a media filter. These elite athletes are tapping into the power of these creators and online influencers to connect more authentically with fans.
By giving Speed a tour of his home, Booker showcased his love of collecting — a trait that could resonate with fans.
