GLENDALE – The reunion between Calais Campbell and the Arizona Cardinals was one of the most heartwarming moments this past offseason. The franchise took a chance on the Miami Hurricane lineman in the 2nd round of the 2008 draft. The selection turned out to be a home run, as Campbell became the face of Arizona’s defense for the next decade.

After playing for three different teams in the last three years, Campbell has returned home with the Cardinals, where he views 2025 as his farewell tour.
“I’d be very surprised if it wasn’t (my last season),” Campbell said.

Campbell likely to end career with Cardinals:
Back at his introductory press conference, Campbell claims that this roster has the pieces to make a run. The 38-year-old was just one of the many moves that general manager Monti Ossenfort made this past offseason, signing other stellar veterans like Josh Sweat and Dalvin Tomlinson to beef up the D-line.
The 2025 rookie class will make an instant impact with the top two selections in Walter Nolen and Will Johnson expected to be day one starters. Nolen will be under the tutelage of Campbell and will gift him with knowledge that will help in his development.

The offense is still headed by quarterback Kyler Murray with his array of weapons like Trey McBride, Marvin Harrison Jr., and James Conner. Arizona has the most talented roster in years and could bring the franchise and Campbell their first ever Super Bowl ring.
