Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham spoke on Jordan Tyson and Hines Ward:
“Mentally I think Hines Ward coming in last year, I think JT has really taken what Coach Ward has said in terms of preparation and what it takes to be successful at the next level, and really embodied that.” (Credit: Spenser Tilus – Burn City Sports)
Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham also mentioned, “His preparation to be great is something that I’m super proud of, and because of that he’s gained over 10 pounds and he’s a mile and a half faster than he was this time last year, because he is preparing like a pro. There is not anybody else better to show you what that looks like, than a guy like Hines Ward at that position, a guy who embodies work ethic, a guy who embodies being successful over a long period of time.” (Credit: Spenser Tilus – Burn City Sports)

Hines Ward was hired as the wide receivers coach for Arizona State back in April of 2024 and has made an instant impact for the Sun Devils. Ward, the two-time Super Bowl champion, former Super Bowl MVP, and four-time pro bowler can surely help out this Sun Devils roster in multiple ways. Jordan Tyson had a spectacular 2024 season with 75 receptions totaling 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns. If Tyson can keep listening and learning from an NFL Legend like Hines Ward, who knows what he can accomplish for Arizona State in the future.
