PHOENIX — The Phoenix Mercury has waived guard Sevgi Uzun, according to a press release issued by the team on June 2.

Uzun was originally with the team under a training camp contract until she was selected for the Mercury roster before the start of the 2025 season. She is set to play in the Turkish National team and will play in the EuroBasket this month.

During her time with Phoenix, Uzun played in seven games, averaging 1.6 points, shooting 21.4% from the field, and 12.5% from three-point range.
