There will be a special reception and pregame recognition tonight for these 61 Arizona non-profit organizations that are receiving the grants. These organizations received a combined $303,400 through the D-Backs grant program. These funds will help go towards programming expenses, supporting a wide range of initiatives including fighting homelessness and hunger, and healthcare for the disadvantaged. It will also include helping a wide scale of youth mentoring and education programs.

Tonight, Derrick Hall will be joined by the Arizona Diamondbacks SVP of Corporate and Community Impact, Debbie Castaldo. They will take the stage alongside multiple Foundation Board members such as: Bob Ryan, Amy Cohn, and Marc Ashton. They will each be presenting the awards to the recipients.

This Arizona Diamondbacks organization is showing how they are working tirelessly to further help amplify their community impact by lifting up those around them. These types of foundations only continue to help build and grow our city. The D-Backs grant program was established back in 1998, though was renamed last year. Derrick Hall has certainly earned the name change, as he has led this state-wide community impact for years. Hall has brought the Diamondbacks Foundation total giving to $93 million.

This is just one of many events that the D-Backs are taking part in this season. In tonight’s matchup, fans will also be coming out for Country Night with postgame fireworks and concert with country artist, Scotty Hasting presented by Seatgeek. All of this will take place tonight as Arizona faces off against the Atlanta Braves in the first game of their series on Friday, April 25th @ 6:40 p.m. MST.
