The conversation about the Arizona Diamondbacks’ new City Connect jerseys reignited online as people are questioning the “leak,” as the final design. This is another chapter in the saga of the new jersey for the Arizona Diamondbacks, as rumors and details have been discussed for weeks. Some mention that the jersey leak is very similar, but still is not the exact one that the D-Backs will be releasing.

While the MLB announced back in March that the D-Backs were going to be one of eight teams that would be receiving a new City Connect edition jersey for the 2025 season, immediate speculation occurred. It seems that the overwhelming response from the Diamondbacks’ fanbase is that they would like to see the throwback purple and teal uniforms. Whether it comes with the original pinstripes and vest, Arizona fans will have to wait and see.

Their original City Connect jerseys the D-Backs debuted back in 2021, which featured their now regularly worn, sand-colored, Serpientes uniforms. Arizona paid homage to their Hispanic culture, as it became a massive hit not just among the Diamondbacks but was also highly complimented from around the league. The Snakes will look to replicate that success by blending both worlds of old and new school, in what should be a design the Diamondbacks will cherish for years to come.
