Tawa’s standout performance helped the Diamondbacks extend their strong winning streak to four games. His early success doesn’t come as a surprise—Tawa was on fire in the minor leagues with Triple-A Reno, where he racked up three home runs in just six games.

Timothy John Tawa has consistently excelled wherever he goes. A multi-talented athlete, he set state football records as a quarterback while attending West Linn High School in Oregon. He won a state championship during his football career and was named Gatorade Player of the Year in Oregon three times for football and once for baseball.

His achievements led him to play college baseball at Stanford University, marking the beginning of what looks to be a promising MLB career. The Arizona Diamondbacks selected him in the 11th round of the 2021 draft, bringing his dream of making it to the majors closer to reality.
