Replacing Skattebo is no small feat, but Udoh embraces the challenge. “It makes me rise to the occasion,” Udoh said.

Udoh joins the Sun Devils as a junior after a standout season with the Black Knights. In 2024, he rushed 179 times, averaging 6.2 yards per carry and finishing the year with 1,117 yards and 10 touchdowns. His strong performance at Army has given ASU confidence that he can make an immediate impact in the Big 12.

There will be an adjustment period transitioning from West Point to Tempe, as well as navigating the transfer process, but Udoh is prepared to overcome any challenges.

As spring practices begin, Udoh will look to establish himself as a key contributor in an evolving Sun Devils offense under head coach Kenny Dillingham. With his combination of power and speed, he has the potential to be a difference-maker as ASU prepares for the 2025 season.
