TEMPE – The Big 12 has its Pro Day from March 18-21. More than 200 of the conference’s best players will try to improve their stock before the NFL Draft next month. Arizona State football is well represented, with eight players making the cut. However, a prominent name missing from the list was superstar running Cam Skattebo.

During his senior campaign, Skattebo carried ASU to its best season in over a decade, rushing for over 1,700 yards. Skattebo’s heroics earned him fifth in Heisman voting and expectations to hear his name on stage at the NFL Draft.
During this draft cycle, the star halfback isn’t concerned about his draft stock. Skattebo participated in only two drills at the NFL combine and now elects to skip the Big 12 Pro Day. He could make an appearance at ASU’s pro day later this month.
Regardless, ASU will have eight Sun Devils compete at the conference Pro Day and aim to play on Sunday.

None of the field of Sun Devils are projected to get drafted, but this will be their biggest opportunity to make a case for a team to take a chance with them. Nearly 300 NFL scouts will be attendance, and all it takes is to impress one to earn an opportunity.
