PHOENIX — Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal is off of the team’s injury report ahead of their matchup against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday after missing three of their last seven games with an ongoing calf injury.

Phoenix (30-35) sits at the 11th seed in the Western Conference and is 2.5 games behind the Dallas Mavericks (33-33) for the final play-in spot. The Mavs are heavily depleted, losing All-Star guard Kyrie Irving for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL and are considering shutting down recently-acquired center Anthony Davis with an adductor strain.
With 17 games left, the Suns have the toughest remaining strength of schedule, with just three of those games being against teams below .500 (Toronto, San Antonio and Chicago).
Aside from Beal, Monte Morris is listed doubtful against the Rockets with low back injury management. Cody Martin, who Phoenix acquired in February for Jusuf Nurkic, was assigned to the G League Valley Suns last week to rehab a sports hernia. Martin hasn’t suited up for the Suns at all this season.
Amen Thompson is listed out with a left ankle sprain for the Rockets.
Phoenix closes out a four-game road trip in Houston on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT and then heads back home to take on the Sacramento Kings in PHX Arena on Friday at 10 p.m. EDT.
Devin Booker could net Suns massive return, should they trade him?
