PHOENIX –The 2025 NBA All-Star game is a wrap and looked to be memorable with the rumors surrounding aging superstars Lebron James and Steph Curry about this year’s possibility of being their last All-Star game. However, a forgotten name on that list is ASU legend James Harden, competing in his 11th All-Star game on team Shaq’s OGs.

After making 10 straight All-Star appearances, the 35-year-old Harden hadn’t been named an All-Star since the 2021-2022 season and looked to maybe be in the twilight of his Hall-of-Fame career. However, the former MVP has had a career resurgence with the Los Angeles Clippers, leading them to the sixth seed without superstar Kawhi Leonard.
The seven-time All-NBA member earned his 11th All-Star bid, averaging 21.5 points, 8.6 assists, and 5.8 rebounds. During the games, he recorded three points and two assists against Candance’s Rising Stars and three points and four assists against Chuck’s Global Stars on route to winning the four-team tournament for Shaq’s OGs.

Harden had a quiet day at possibly his last All-Star game, but he came away with the win, which matters most to him. If this is Harden’s final appearance at All-Star weekend, what a ride for the future Hall of Famer.
