With this years NFL season officially over, its time to turn our attention to this years NFL draft which is now only about three months away. More mock drafts are coming out with four of the latest ones having the Cardinals going after their biggest position of concern at the defensive line.

SB Nation has Arizona grabbing Derrick Harmon from Oregon. He is a massive defensive lineman at 6’5, 310 lbs. While not really being known for getting after the quarterback, he is great against the run. This past season he had 45 tackles including 5 sacks and two forced fumbles. CBS Sports also has them addressing the defensive line, grabbing Shemar Stewart from Texas A&M. He’s got decent size as well at 6’6, 290. But is coming off a pretty quiet season where he finished with just 31 tackles and 1.5 sacks and is listed as the 33rd ranked prospect in this years draft.
USA Today projects the Cardinals to take Walter Nolen from Ole Miss. He had a dominate season for the Rebels, finishing with 48 tackles and 6.5 sacks. Finally, PFF has them taking James Pearce Jr from Tennessee. He’s known for being able to get off the edge and get after the quarterback and has wracked up 19 sacks in three seasons for the Vols.
This years NFL draft is set for April 24th.
