In his first home game that he wasn’t named in the starting lineup this season, Phoenix Suns star Bradley Beal had a standout performance off the bench in a 123-115 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.
Leading the Suns with 25 points from 11-of-16 (68.8%) shooting, Beal scored 25 points and had seven rebounds, two assists, three steals and a block in 33 minutes. Beal was moved to the bench three games ago and has scored 20-plus points in two of them.
Both Grayson Allen and Kevin Durant finished with 23 points each and Devin Booker clinched a double-double (20 points, 12 assists) despite going 0-for-8 from 3.
Following the game, reporters flooded Beal with questions about his new role as a rotation player and he talked about still having fun, putting more emphasis on defense, changing practically everything in his preparation, doing what is asked of him and more.
