Both teams are undefeated in Fiesta Bowl history, with Penn State being 7-0 and Boise State at 3-0. The Nittany Lions are coming off a 38-10 win over SMU in the first round of the CFP while the Broncos earned a first-round bye after locking up the No. 3 seed.
Never in the history of either program have these two teams faced each other, and especially with various amounts of implications on the line. Whoever wins will hoist the Fiesta Bowl Trophy as well as advance to the semifinals of the CFP.
The game between Penn State and Boise State begins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday inside State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
