WATCH: Best highlights of Kansas State winning 2024 Rate Bowl over Rutgers

As miraculous a comeback as any, the Kansas State Wildcats scored four touchdowns in the second half to come back and defeat Rutgers 44-41 in a 2024 Rate Bowl thriller.

The 85 combined points tied Kansas’ 49-36 win over UNLV in the 2023 Rate Bowl.

K-State finished with 542 total yards from scrimmage, 195 passing and 347 rushing, and averaged 7.4 yards per play.

Wildcats running back Dylan Edwards rushed for 196 yards on 18 carries en route to two touchdowns and a comeback win. K-State quarterback Avery Johnson was responsible for the Wildcats’ three other touchdowns, amassing 195 passing yards from 15-for-30 completions.
