The Arizona Cardinals have now won four-straight games after blowing out Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets 31-6.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Arizona (6-4) extended its lead of first place in the NFC West with the victory, leading from start to finish behind a huge day from Kyler Murray. The Cardinals won the total net yards 406-207, looking completely in control on both sides of the ball.
Here are some initial takeaways from the win:
– Arizona, as it has said all season, has a lot of belief in itself, and it’s proving it with this win streak.
– Murray continued to show how poised and comfortable he is in the pocket this year, completing a franchise record 17-straight passes on top of a monster day, in which he connected on 22-of-24 passes for 266 yards and a touchdown and rushed three times for 21 yards and two touchdowns.
The #AZCardinals and Kyler Murray are rolling. Now up 21-6 over the #Jets after Murray connects with Marvin Harrison Jr. for a 9-yard touchdown.
Murray is now 13-for-15 for 170 yards with a passing TD and rushing TD ???? #NYJvsAZ

– The Cardinals’ offense got even scarier today with the use of Trey Benson. With James Conner already on a roll all season and starting the game off with a big play then touchdown, Arizona relied on Benson much more. The third-round rookie ended with 10 carries for 62 yards, ripping off multiple first-down runs.
– The Arizona secondary continues to impress. Even without Jalen Thompson due to injury, Garrett Williams and Budda Baker’s career years have carried on. Baker led Arizona with nine tackles and three tackles for loss, while Williams was right behind him with seven tackles. Rookie Dadrion Taylor-Demerson filled in seamlessly for Thompson with six tackles and two pass breakups.
– The Cardinals’ defense allows a lot of yardage some drives, but does a terrific job of keeping opposing teams out of the end zone. Arizona has now not let up a touchdown at home since Week 4, going three full home games without doing so.
– Last week against the Bears, the Cardinals pass rush really disrupted rookie QB Caleb Williams. This week, the pass rush, which had been arguably the worst in the league, notched three sacks and held arguably the smartest quarterback of all time in Rodgers to 22-of-35 passing for 151 yards and 0 touchdowns.
Arizona now has a bye week and could get even stronger in Week 12 with Darius Robinson (calf, missed all season) and Jonah Williams (knee, been out since Week 1) getting another week to rest.
