After defeating the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, the Cardinals’ playoff odds have reached new season highs, climbing to 30% with a 26% chance to win the NFC West.

While those odds may seem modest, Cardinals fans are embracing them given the struggles of the past two seasons. Notably, Arizona currently has better playoff odds than teams like the Cowboys, Buccaneers, Seahawks, and Saints.

In The Athletic’s NFL Playoff Predictor, which simulates over 100,000 game outcomes, the Rams surprisingly hold the best odds to win the NFC West—but even they sit at only 31%. No NFC West team ranks among the top 15 in playoff odds, underscoring the division’s wide-open race.

The Cardinals also benefit from one of the NFL’s easiest remaining schedules, with upcoming matchups against the Patriots, Jets, and Panthers. With the Seahawks falling to the Bills on Sunday afternoon, the only team on the Cardinals’ remaining schedule with a winning record through the first eight weeks is the Minnesota Vikings, who are currently on a two-game losing streak.
