The Phoenix Suns will be without Grayson Allen tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers, coach Mike Budenholzer told reporters in his pregame press conference.

Allen, originally listed as probable with right Achilles soreness, is out due to personal reasons, according to Budenholzer (via ESPN’s Dave McNenamin).  Allen had eight points on 2-of-7 shooting in 21 minutes in the Suns’ 116-113 season-opening win over the Los Angeles Clippers Wednesday.

Bradley Beal, listed as probable with right should soreness, is expected to play, Budenholzer said (via The Arizona Republic‘s Duane Rankin). Beal had the best shooting performance for Phoenix against L.A. with 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting and 4-of-6 3-point shooting in 38 minutes.

Josh Okogie (right hamstring strain) was already listed as out after suffering his injury during the preseason and missing Wednesday’s season opener.

Phoenix played 11 players in its season opener, so if it chooses to go with an 11-man rotation again, Damion Lee could get some run with Allen out. Lee missed all of last season recovering from a meniscus injury. Budenholzer said there could be more minutes for rookie Ryan Dunn and Monté Morris without Allen.

For the Lakers, Jalen Hood-Schifino is out with an illness. Christian Koloko (return to competition reconditioning), Jarred Vanderbilt (right foot surgery recovery) and Christian Wood (right knee surgery recovery) remain out.

Tonight’s game tips off at 7 p.m. MST in Los Angeles.

Preview: Can Suns leave Los Angeles with 2-0 record to start season?
