Phoenix has ruled out Jusuf Nurkić (left middle finger) for the third-straight game and Grayson Allen (personal) for the second-straight game.

This will be the second-straight game between the two teams after the Suns beat Detroit 105-97 in a special matchup at Michigan State Tuesday. Phoenix put together a really impressive performance up and down the roster with Kevin Durant leading the way with 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting (4-for-6 from 3), and Bradley Beal (12 points, six rebounds), Royce O’Neale (11 points on 4-of-6 shooting), Devin Booker (10 points, three assists) and Ryan Dunn (10 points on 3-of-5 shooting from 3, four rebounds and two blocks) all scoring in double figures.

The Suns had 30 assists on 39 made field goals with Tyus Jones (seven assists, 0 turnovers) and Monte Morris (five assists and 0 turnovers) leading the way from the point guard spot. Dunn flashed his potential on both sides of the ball, while his fellow second-round rookie Oso Ighodaro (six points, seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks) looked like a veteran with his poise and playmaking at the center spot.

The Suns attempted 46 3-pointers in the win, cashing in on 16 of them, which is something that has been a point of emphasis under new coach Mike Budenholzer. Budenholzer praised the ball movement, pace and dribble penetration that have led to the uptick in 3-pointers attempted in the first two preseason games.

Phoenix will look to continue this high level of play tonight in front of its home crowd for the first time. For the Pistons, they will hope to get more scoring-wise from Cade Cunningham (three points on 1-of-6 shooting Tuesday) and to see the development of Jalen Duran continue after he posted a team-high 17 points Tuesday.
