GLENDALE — The Arizona Cardinals wrapped up their ninth training camp practice. Some of the day’s highlights include some impressive one-handed grabs in traffic.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Xavier Weaver got the party started, beating starting safety Jalen Thompson in 1-on-1 drills. Weaver, an undrafted free agent out of Colorado, is looking to make a strong impression in camp. Winning a matchup against a starting member of the defense certainly helps his case.

Not to be outdone, Dortch made a one-handed stab on an errant throw from Desmond Ridder, who is battling for the backup quarterback role with second-year Cardinal Clayton Tune.

The best play of the day might have gone to Michael Wilson. Facing off against rookie corner Max Melton, Wilson beat both Melton and safety Budda Baker on a go route then made a nice over-the-shoulder catch on a solid deep ball from Kyler Murray. While he had to leave his feet to secure the catch, he was able to get up quickly and score. Wilson could be on track for a big second year in the Cardinals’ offense after a promising rookie season in which he caught 39 passes for 565 yards and four touchdowns.
