Kahleah Copper will forever remember June 7, 2024, as she captured one of the most iconic moments in Phoenix Mercury franchise history.

Phoenix did lead through the first two quarters before Minnesota was a defensive stop away from flipping the script.
Needing a bucket, Sophie Cunningham imbounded the ball to Brittney Griner. Posting up on Napheesa Collier, Griner gave the ball to Copper who was open off a screen from the right and scored, igniting a roar of cheers from the Mercury fans and leaving the Lynx stunned as Phoenix won 81-80.

While the magical shot sealed the fate of the Mercury, it was a perfect ending to a 34-point night. Copper has scored 30-plus points in a game four times this season, and is third in scoring in the WNBA, 23.5 points per game.
Phoenix are back in action on Sunday when they take on the Dallas Wings at 1 p.m. PT.
