BREAKING: Phoenix Mercury guard Sug Sutton has been listed as out ahead of the Phoenix’s matchup against Connecticut, according to the Mercury.

After suffering a left elbow injury against the Mystics last Thursday, Sutton battled through it and suited up in Phoenix’s matchup against Dallas just two days later.
Making matters worse, Sutton is now dealing with a right ankle injury, and will miss her first game of the season against Connecticut.
Sutton has averaged 4.4 points and two assists per game through five games. Playing 14.8 minutes per game, Sutton is a needed complimentary piece off of Phoenix’s bench, providing grit and spurts of playmaking in various lineups.
