According to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero, Penn State edge Demeioun “Chop” Robinson reportedly had a pre-draft visit with Arizona today.

“More notable pre-draft visits today: Cardinals host Washington WR Rome Odunze and Penn State edge Chop Robinson, [Chicago] Bears host Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr., [Tennessee] Titans host LSU WR Malik Nabers and [Carolina] Panthers host Western Kentucky WR Malachi Corley,” Pelissero said.

As a true freshman, Robinson spent one season at the University of Maryland, College Park. Slotted as a linebacker, he appeared in eight games, grabbing 2.0 sacks and 19 tackles.

After just a single year with the Terrapins, the 21-year-old transferred to Penn State, playing 22 games during two seasons (2022-23). There, he would move over to defensive end and collected 9.5 sacks, 41 tackles, defended three passes and forced three fumbles.

Last year, Robinson made the first-team All-Big Ten after notching 4.0 sacks and 41 tackles in 10 games.

Arizona possesses the No. 4 and No. 27 picks in the draft, with Robinson linked as a late first-round pick.

If picked by the Cardinals, the 6-foot-3 edge would join a defensive end core consisting of BJ Ojulari, Cam Thomas, L.J. Collier and Tyreke Smith. During the offseason, Arizona signed Bilal Nicols in free agency.

As of right now, the Cardinals will have six draft choices in the first three rounds and 11 in total. There have been rumors of Arizona entertaining offers to trade down, but have yet to complete a deal.
