Allen wrapped up the game with 32 points, including nine 3-pointers. This performance set a new Suns record for the most games in a single season with at least six 3-pointers made.
A decisive 23-6 run in the second quarter enabled the Suns to establish a significant lead.
Following Allen in the scoring tally were Kevin Durant with 22 points and Devin Booker with 18, who narrowly missed his first career regular-season triple-double by one rebound.
While the Suns did run into some trouble in the 4th quarter, with the 76ers cutting their once 26-point deficit to a mere 11 points, all it took was Frank Vogel turning back to his starters for Phoenix to pull away again.
From the bench, Royce O’Neale and Bol Bol boosted the Suns, collectively adding 23 points with an efficient 5-8 from beyond the arc.
On the 76ers’ side, Tyrese Maxey faced significant struggles, shooting 3 for 13 and failing to secure any rebounds.
With the Suns maintaining a comfortable lead in the final minutes, Isaiah Thomas was greeted with enthusiasm at the Footprint Center as he made his first appearance in nearly two years.
