Durant, who was a starter in the game, played in his first All-Star Game since 2019 due to various injuries. He also had five assists, five rebounds and two steals in 25 minutes. Durant shot 7-for-12 from the floor and 4-for-8 from 3-point range. He did not play in the fourth quarter.

The East’s 211 points were the most ever in an All-Star Game and the first time a team has scored 200 or more points.

Perhaps Durant’s best highlight came on his first basket when he scored on a reverse alley-oop layup from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Durant also did a “too tiny” celebration on Damian Lillard after scoring a layup over him. This might be Durant’s new signature celebration after he first did it against former Brooklyn Nets’ teammate Cam Thomas on Jan. 31.

Durant was also on the wrong end of a highlight, as he was nutmegged by Trae Young.

Tonight marked the first time Durant has played with both LeBron James and Stephen Curry in an All-Star Game. James finished with eight points, four rebounds sand three assists and did not play the second half. Curry had 16 points, eight assists and five rebounds in 26 minutes.

Lillard won the Kobe Bryant MVP trophy, totaling 39 points (11-23 from deep) and six assists for the East. Karl Anthony-Towns had a game-high 50 points off the bench for the West.

Suns’ teammate Devin Booker had 15 points, seven assists, four rebounds and two steals in 19 minutes.

The two Suns’ (33-22) stars now have off until Thursday when they travel to Dallas to play the Mavericks (32-23).
