Kevin Durant has seen Stephen Curry’s greatness firsthand several times after being his teammate on the Warriors from 2016-19.

Before then, Curry hit an incredible game-winner against Durant’s Oklahoma City Thunder team in 2016.

Last night, he did the same against Durant and the Suns to help the Warriors win 113-112. Bradley Beal overcommitted trying to go for the steal on the inbounds pass with three seconds remaining and Curry turned around swished home a 30-footer. Durant was seen smiling on the bench in disbelief after the shot.

“Turnt and got an open look,” Durant said of Curry’s shot. “Felt like we were this close to the steal, but that’s the NBA, a game of inches. That’s all he needs.

“All time great, the greatest ever at his position. Top-5 ever, so you give him a look like that for the game, he is licking his chops … Tough play, sometimes guys are just that great.”

Durant ended with 24 points on 10-of-25 shooting, 10 rebounds, seven assists and two blocks. The Suns passed him the ball for one last chance with 0.6 seconds left, but it was knocked away by Draymond Green.

Curry finished with 30 points, nine rebounds and six assists.

“Hell of a play by Steph Curry,” Suns’ coach Frank Vogel said. “One of the best ever. The best ever.”

The Suns and Warriors do not meet again this season, and despite the loss, the Suns won the season series 3-1.
