Devin Booker’s new signature shoes are finally scheduled to release to a wide public audience on Feb. 17 and to build anticipation Nike released a star-studded commercial to promote the “Book 1s.”

Legendary footwear designer Wilson Smith narrates the commercial.
It begins with a book reading by Smith to an audience featuring some well-known faces and shows some of Booker’s life growing up before transitioning to a detailed look at the colorway that will be releasing. This cream colorway is called “Mirage.”
Perhaps the best moment in the commercial is a cameo by Suns’ teammate Kevin Durant, who has 16 different signature shoes with Nike.
Booker describes his shoes with the help of the Phoenix legends by saying his shoes are “Occupying the space between …”
“Simple and complex,” Taurasi says.
“Cool and crispy,” Durant adds.
“A future classic,” Marion says.
“It’s time,” Booker’s brother Davon Wade says.

Booker caps of the commercial by saying: “The Book 1, one and not done. Welcome to the world of Book.”
“A lot of legends in it,” Booker said at Suns’ shootaround this morning. “All those people are a part of this story, are a part of this book, and I was happy that they were willing to take time out to shoot a commercial, to be a part of it.”
Booker will be the one of five NBA players to have a current signature line with Nike when his shoe releases.
The other four who are still actively releasing shoes are LeBron James, Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Ja Morant.
This colorway will be priced at $150 and available on the SNKRS app and select retailers.
“It’s been two years of preparation and thinking and collaborating with my favorite brand of all time, so it’s been a pleasure being a part of it,” Booker said.
