The System

James Harden made it clear that he was the system upon arrival in Los Angeles and he has backed that up.

In 38 games played with the team, Harden is averaging 17.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 8.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game. The 34-year-old is doing this with great efficiency, shooting 46% from the field and 42% from beyond the arc.

This is the Arizona State alum’s 75th career NBA triple-double and first as a Clipper.

Championship Potiential?

Not only has Harden played at a high level since his arrival, but it has led to victories for the Clippers.

The team has won 26 of its last 33 games and currently stands as the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference.

With the elite level of coaching from Tyronn Lue, along with the play of James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Russell Westbrook, and co., the Clippers should without a doubt be considered a championship contender this season.
