One factor stood out above all others and that is ASU’s continuous shooting struggles. The team shot an alarming 3/26 from beyond the arc, making them 7/43 over the last two games.
The Beavers got off to a hot start early on and went into the half with a 15-point lead. Despite continuing to force turnovers at a high rate, the Sun Devils could not capitalize off them due to their poor shooting.

Arizona State trailed by 21 at one point but did make a late comeback effort led by junior two-way guard Frankie Collins. However, it was not enough as their jump shots were simply not falling consistently.
