This year’s NHL All-Star Game is fast-approaching, but it looks like the only representative for the Arizona Coyotes going to Toronto will be Clayton Keller.

With already one player from each of the 32 teams locked in, the 2024 NHL All-Star Fan Vote was a way for the hockey world to elect an additional eight players and four goaltenders from any organization. Keller was nominated as the Coyotes All-Star by the league prior to the voting.

According to NHL.com, the leading vote-getters for players were Mitch Marner and William Nylander (Toronto Maple Leafs), Elias Pettersson, J.T Miller and Brock Boeser (Vancouver Canucks), Cale Makar and Mikko Rantanen (Colorado Avalanche), and Leon Draisaitl (Edmonton Oilers) as of Monday night. Rantanen was ninth in votes since New York Rangers’ Artemi Panarin was in the top-eight, but Panarin is skipping the event for the birth of his child.

As for goalies, Thatcher Demko (Canucks), Jeremy Swayman (Boston Bruins), Sergei Bobrovsky (Florida Panthers) and Alexandar Georgiev (Avalanche).

While there is a common theme of certain teams having one or multiple players garnering more votes from the fans than others, there were no other Coyotes.

Out of all possible options for Arizona besides Keller, Connor Ingram has been one of the better goaltenders in the league, but hasn’t been selected enough for a bid to the All-Star game.

This season, Ingram has posted a 14-8 record, 2.62 goals-against-average and .915 save percentage.

On Saturday, five of the winners will be announced during the intermission of the game between the Rangers and Washington Capitals. Then, the remaining seven will then be revealed before the Avalanche face the Toronto Maple Leafs.
