Despite the crushing losses they have taken this season, all 11 of the Pumas’ wins this season have come by double-digit points. When the team is hitting on all cylinders as they did against Gilbert, it is extremely tough to beat them.
Road To Repeat
Perry is coming off a season where they went 32-1 and were crowned the open state champions. The goal is clear for the players and coaches, to get back to the championship with the same result.
The Pumas do have a tough matchup ahead as they face the 11-4 Basha Bears on Saturday, Jan. 6 @ 7 p.m. MST. The Bears are currently a top-10-ranked team in the state and not one to take lightly. Perry will look to keep it rolling and prove why they’re still the best team in Arizona.
