Pumas Back On Track

After suffering their worst defeat of the season in a 22-point loss to the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines of California, the Pumas (11-4) quickly turned it around.

Perry traveled to play the Tigers at their home court and did not slow down, as they outscored Gilbert in all four quarters.

Despite the crushing losses they have taken this season, all 11 of the Pumas’ wins this season have come by double-digit points. When the team is hitting on all cylinders as they did against Gilbert, it is extremely tough to beat them.

Road To Repeat

Perry is coming off a season where they went 32-1 and were crowned the open state champions. The goal is clear for the players and coaches, to get back to the championship with the same result.

The Pumas do have a tough matchup ahead as they face the 11-4 Basha Bears on Saturday, Jan. 6 @ 7 p.m. MST. The Bears are currently a top-10-ranked team in the state and not one to take lightly. Perry will look to keep it rolling and prove why they’re still the best team in Arizona.
