Maricopa Struggle

This is just the second loss of the season for Maricopa, as they’ve improved significantly from last season, where they finished with a 2-11-3 record.

After going on a five-game win streak, the Rams (5-2-1) have now lost back-to-back games while being outscored 9-3 in those contests.

There is no doubt that Maricopa has looked much better than it did a year ago, but they are not trending in the right direction with these losses.

The Rams next match up against the 4-2-3 Camelback Spartans, who have outscored opponents by 10 goals this season. Maricopa can get back on track with a victory here and gain the momentum needed for the rest of the season.

Jaguars Keep It Rolling

Boulder Creek has also improved significantly from last season. The team went just 2-12-1 while being outscored by over 40 goals.

The Jaguars (5-3) have turned it around and proven that they should be taken seriously in the 6A.

They next face the 2-8 Basha Bears who have struggled immensely this season. This is an opportunity for Boulder Creek to extend their win streak and keep it rolling as the playoffs approach.
