Junior midfielder/forward Danny Pascanu is leading the team in goals with five on the season despite playing in just five games.
Maricopa Coming Off First Loss
The Rams (5-1-1) are another team that has improved significantly. They finished last season with a 2-11-3 record and were outscored by 28 goals.
Maricopa won five straight before losing their very first game of the season to the Alhambra Lions earlier in the month.
The team has proven that they are capable of winning games consistently this season and should be considered as a team that can make a potiential run in the 6A playoffs.
Both Boulder Creek and Maricopa could use a victory to help further give them the momentum needed before heading into the playoffs.
