It was Bradley Beal’s return to the court following an ankle injury that kept him out since Dec. 15.

Even though he made his comeback, Beal still played 29:59, scored six points from 3-of-8 shooting and assisted seven times.

Knowing that Beal was easing his way into game-action, Vogel stated that he liked what he saw.

“I loved his (Beal’s) floor game tonight, and he did not force,” Vogel said. “A lot of times you try to come back and you are trying to get your rhythm and timing and legs under you. Guys can have a tendency to do that, but he didn’t do that. He just played extra-pass basketball and let the game come to him.”

Devin Booker had 35 points from 10-of-18 shooting and 5-of-7 from behind the three-point arch.

Kevin Durant lead all Suns with 11 assists while putting up 21 points.

As a collective, Beal, Durant and Booker had 25 assists combined which prompted Vogel to explain that if the whole team can build off of that, he believes Phoenix can reach new heights this season.

“If we have a team that is selfless, the way our three stars played tonight, not just Brad, but Kevin and Book and Brad having 25 assists and the way they can score the basketball, we have a chance to be special this year,” Vogel said.”
