This streak began for Booker once he came back from missing a game on December 1st. Since then, he has averaged 27.4 points and 7.9 assists per game over this 12-game stretch.
Against the Hornets on Friday night, Booker scored 35 points on 5-7 shooting from beyond the arc. This was his 2nd 35+ point performance this season.
And it is no surprise that this standout night came on the day that Bradley Beal came back from injury. With Beal on the court, Booker was able to find much more separation and avoid the double-team that he has had to deal with all year.
When asked about what it was like to actually take some open shots, Booker responded, “It’s an adjustment but I’ll take it.”
