After their historic season, ASU Volleyball accomplishes one last historic feat. They finished ranked in the AVCA Coaches Poll.

They were ranked #16 in the end-of-season poll. This is the first time they’ve been ranked to end a season since 2015 and their highest ranking since 1995.
The Sun Devils will now go into the offseason with one year under JJ Van Niel’s culture. It worked, so the Sun Devils can only get better from here. They did lose a lot of seniors, but they added Bailey Miller in the portal from West Virginia and will probably be looking to add more.
After this historic season, JJ Van Niel will start attracting girls to ASU, which he’s admitted to having difficulty with. The Sun Devils have three freshmen coming in, but none are ranked highly in recruiting portals. Next year could look a lot different with Van Niel’s reputation growing.
