Dezmen Roebuck Looking to Continue Dominance in Final Season

Marana Tigers High School wide receiver/safety Dezmen Roebuck just wrapped up his junior season with the team.

He is currently ranked No. 9 in the entire state of Arizona from the class of 2025, according to 247Sports.

Roebuck’s Monster Junior Year

Roebuck showed nothing short of dominance in his third year with the Tigers.

He finished with 121 receptions for 1332 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, setting school records.

The junior played both sides of the ball and came away with four interceptions, two fumble recoveries, four pass deflections, and 48 total tackles. He also scored two defensive touchdowns.

This season resulted in Roebuck being named Region Player of the Year and Regional 1st Team Wide Receiver.

Leaving Room For Improvement

Despite the record-breaking season, Roebuck is setting his goals at an even higher scale heading into his final year.

“Some of my personal goals going into next season are to break the school record that I set this year for receiving yards in one season and to break the state record of total career receiving yards,” Roebuck said.

Even with his dominance on both sides of the ball, the Tigers finished the season at just 5-6, down from the 10-2 record they finished with the previous year.

Roebuck knows what it takes and wants his final high school season to come with winning.

“We have come together, work hard this offseason and attack the weight room,” Roebuck said.

Interest At The Next Level

He has already received interest from schools at the next level and will undoubtedly receive more over the next year.

Some of the current offers he has received include those from Arizona, Arizona State, Northern Arizona, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

With his level of play both offensively and defensively, a program at the next level will get a steal in Dezmen Roebuck.
