Suns -5 @ Jazz

The Phoenix Suns are favored to win by five points in this game. On Friday night they were favored by 5.5 points and only won by three due to a late three pointer from Jordan Clarkson. I can’t let that bit of bad luck deter me from a good bet. Phoenix is the better team and should win by more than five points.

Kevin Durant Over 4.5 Assists

On Friday night the big news that included assists was Devin Booker’s career night. Booker had a career high 15 assists in that game. Booker’s big night overshadowed Kevin Durant’s assist output. Durant finished the game with nine assists. I am confident in Durant having another big assist night as the Jazz try to get ball out of his hands. Durant also scored 38 points on Friday night. Utah has to pick their poison and the safer poison is Durant as a play-maker rather than a scorer.

Devin Booker Over 28.5 Points and 2.5 Three Pointers Made

Devin Booker was excellent on Friday night against the Jazz. He finished the game with 24 points and 15 assists. The Utah Jazz have to make an adjustment and my guess is that they will try to stop Booker from controlling the game through his play-making. This will open Booker up to more aggressive as a scorer. So give me the over on Booker’s points and three points field goals made. Booker is shooting 48% from behind the three point line this year and making three, three pointers per game.

John Collins Over 8.5 Rebounds

On Friday night Jazz forward John Collins finished the game with 14 rebounds. This was his second straight game with double digit rebounds. In the previous game he had 10 rebounds against the Portland Trailblazers. Collins is a good rebounder who is averaging 8.7 rebounds per game so far this season. This is the perfect match-up for him to continue his good rebounding trend.
